Off to the island!
Arriving by car ferry
The car ferry from Rømø (Dänemark) to List is a very pleasant route option. After boarding in Denmark, you need simply relax and enjoy the crossing (approx. 40 minutes). Upon disembarking the ferry, you immediately find yourself in List Harbour. From there, your holiday in A-ROSA Sylt is only a stone's throw away: 900 meters, to be exact.
Arriving by car train
The best-known connection to Sylt is the DB Sylt Shuttle car train. This option allows you to reach the island in just 35 minutes. Simply drive your car onto the train in Niebüll. All passengers remain in the vehicle whilst being transported over the remarkable Hindenburg Dam and watch the Wadden Sea drift by. For many Sylt lovers, this journey is a very special one; one that many would gladly undertake for a lot longer than 35 minutes. After disembarking from the train in Westerland, a short drive towards List brings you swiftly to A-ROSA Sylt. Assuming, of course, that you can resist the various beautiful distractions that the island provides along the way, and manage to take the shortest route.

Arriving by train
Intercity (IC) direct connections to the island are available from most large cities with the Deutsche Bahn rail service. After arriving at the train station in Westerland, a well-connected bus service connects you with the rest of your journey. Alternatively, there are also numerous taxi stands at the station. Arriving by plane
Germany's most-loved holiday island is quick and easy to get to by plane. Holiday makers can fly from many different German cities to Westerland, including from Hamburg, Munich, Düsseldorf and Berlin. Renowned national and international airlines (Lufthansa, Air Berlin, TUIfly, Air Hamburg, Sylt Air) all provide routes to the island in the summer months. In the winter period, the island is served by Air Berlin or a co-operation partner. Rental cars, taxis and bicycle rental services are all available at Sylt airport.
