Our A-ROSA Collection Hotel in Binz is easy to reach by car, train or plane.
To get to the island by car, cross the Strelasund over the Rügen Bridge. Once you reached the island of Rügen, take the B96 towards Bergen and continue on the B196 to Binz. The Ceres am Meer is located not far from the pier of Binz directly on the picturesque Baltic Sea beach. Parking is available directly at the hotel.
Binz train station is approx. 1.3 kilometers away. From here, a 20-minute walk along the beach promenade will give you your first impressions of the Baltic seaside resort. Alternatively, the local bus line 27 will take you comfortably to the hotel. The nearest airport is in Rostock-Laage.
Your room is available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival and until 11 a.m. on your departure day.
We also welcome external guests in our restaurant and bar area. Please note that the breakfast offer for external visitors can only be used subject to availability and by prior arrangement. Our staff on site will be happy to inform you about the possibilities. The wellness area is currently reserved for the exclusive use of our hotel guests.

A sufficient number of parking spaces are available to our hotel guests. We will be happy to reserve a parking space for you in our underground garage for a fee of € 28 per day and car. Your coded room card gives you access to the parking spaces at any time.
A charging station for electric cars is available to our hotel guests free of charge in the underground garage. To use it, please contact our car attendants.
You are welcome to bring your dog to the hotel for an additional charge and by prior arrangement. The surcharge is € 45 per day and dog excluding food. Please understand that your dog is not allowed in the restaurant and bar area or the SENSO SPA and must be kept on a lead outside the room and on the hotel grounds. Furthermore, dogs are only welcome in our hotel by prior arrangement and in selected rooms. The following rule applies: maximum one dog per room.
The island of Rügen has numerous selected dog beaches. Our staff will be happy to advise you on site at any time. In Binz you will also find two beach sections where dogs are not required to be kept on a lead. The officially marked beach for dogs in Binz is located around 3 km north of the pier of Binz at beach access point 52. There is another beach for dogs on the so-called fisherman's beach at the level of beach section 1 in the very south of Binz. This natural dog beach is located in an easterly direction next to the Binz pier and is characterised by coarser sand and some large stones on the shore, which invite your four-legged friend to make interesting discoveries.
Please also note that a tourist tax for dogs of € 2 per dog per day is payable in Binz.

Health as optimal well-being is an essential part of A-ROSA's philosophy. The Ceres am Meer is therefore a non-smoking hotel. Therefore, the consumption of nicotine in all its forms is not permitted in any of the rooms. Ashtrays can be provided on the terraces and balconies as required.
Our SENSO SPA has a heated 30-degree relaxation salt water pool. The round pool with an area of 22 m² and a water depth of 1.35 m offers you plenty of space for relaxation and activity. The pool is located in the basement and offers a calming view of the adjoining sauna area as well as access to a small green atrium with natural light coming in from above. In the sauna area you will find a Finnish sauna (approx. 90 degrees), a bio sauna (approx. 60 degrees), a steam bath (approx. 45 degrees) and a tepidarium with heated loungers (approx. 38 degrees). You will also find a separated relaxation room in our wellness area as well as various rooms for our wellness treatments such as soothing massages, nourishing beauty treatments or relaxing floating experiences. In our SENSO SPA, we are also happy to pamper you with healthy, light snacks and refreshing drinks or tea ceremonies.
Bicycles cannot be rented at Ceres am Meer. However, there are plenty of rental facilities nearby in the center of Binz. Our reception staff will be happy to advise you at any time.
There are two golf courses with a total of 45 holes in the immediate vicinity.
At Golf-Centrum Schloss Karnitz, a course with a total of 27 holes (18-hole + 9-hole) awaits you approx. 26 km from the hotel. The 9-hole course can be played without a golf course qualification.
Another 18-hole course can be found at the Schloss Ranzow golf course, approx. 28 km from the hotel.
Whether you are looking for tranquility or exciting swimming experiences, or whether you are a nudist or have a dog – the island of Rügen has the right stretch of beach for everyone. The Baltic seaside resort of Binz offers a total of 5 km of fine sandy beach with a total of 74 beach access points.
Ceres am Meer has 10 luxury XL beach chairs available for exclusive rental to hotel guests about 400 m from the hotel towards the south beach of Binz. Please note that the number of beach chairs is limited, especially at popular times. Early reservation is recommended. Alternatively, beach chairs can be rented directly on the beach or from the local administration.
The public area in the hotel is barrier-free and has a disabled toilet. The wheelchair-accessible toilet is located in the basement near the spa area and is easily accessible by elevator. There are no special rooms or facilities for the disabled, such as holders in the bathrooms.
Please note that the use of cell phones and laptops is not permitted anywhere in the SENSO SPA or in the restaurant and bar area. In most regions and towns on the island of Rügen, there are no problems when making calls, sending text messages or using mobile data. Only outside the towns and villages can there be occasional problems with reception, depending on the network, as the individual network operators on the island are set up differently.
The municipality of Binz charges a tourist tax of EUR 3.40 per person/per night. Payment of the tourist tax entitles you to free use of the beach and public toilets on the beach.
If you are traveling with your dog, please also note that in the Baltic seaside resort Binz a tourist tax for dogs of € 2 per dog / per day is payable.
